Air Fryer Crispy Nashville Hot Chicken Thighs

1. Mix together all seasoning blend ingredients in a bowl.
2. Season all sides of the chicken thighs with roughly two thirds of the seasoning, reserving the rest for the glaze.
3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
4. Place chicken thighs skin side up in the basket and cook for 12 minutes.
5. While the chicken cooks, prepare your glaze by combining melted butter, honey, hot sauce and the remaining seasoning blend. Mix well.
6. Flip chicken thighs and cook for a further 10 minutes.
7. Glaze the chicken and cook for 5 minutes until caramelised.
8. Flip skin side up, apply one final glaze and cook for a final 5 minutes until crispy and golden.
9. Remove carefully and serve topped with tangy pickles for balance.

Tips

• Don’t skip the final glaze on the skin side. That’s where the caramelised crunch happens.
• Murray River Salt Pink Flakes dissolve beautifully into the seasoning and bring out the sweetness in the brown sugar and heat in the chilli.
• Pickles aren’t optional. The tang cuts through the richness perfectly.
