If you’ve ever been to the Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS), you’ll know it’s foodie heaven – a weekend packed with live cooking demos, incredible produce, and plenty of taste-testing. We’ve been lucky enough to experience it firsthand, attending in person last year, and it’s safe to say… it is amazing!
This year, while we weren’t on the floor ourselves, our pink salt still made an appearance in the best way possible…on stage with the legendary BBQ duo, Cheat Meats.

Leon and Cory (aka Cheat Meats) are known for taking BBQ to the next level – think big, bold flavours and plenty of laughs while they cook. Over the weekend at the Perth GFWS, they worked their magic on the Kleenheat Kitchen stage, cooking up crowd favourites like perfectly crusted steaks and chimichurri ribeye.
And yes, Murray River Salt was their seasoning of choice. Leon and Cory have been long time fans of our pink flakes, and it’s always exciting seeing them use it to create those perfect BBQ crusts and bring out the best in every cut of meat.

The Good Food & Wine Show has always been about celebrating incredible Australian producers and that’s something we’re so proud to be part of. Whether we’re at the show meeting people face-to-face (like we were last year) or teaming up with food legends like Cheat Meats, it’s an amazing way to connect with people who love great food as much as we do.
