
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or your favourite chocolate
Murray River Salt for sprinkling
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla extract and egg.
Gradually mix in the flour mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet.
Sprinkle a pinch of Murray River Salt on top of each cookie before baking.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
