Murray River Salt ‘Pink Salt Flakes’ are produced from the saline aquifers of the once ancient sea which is
now known as the Murray Darling Basin. The award winning Murray River Salt ‘Salt Flakes’ have won
prizes for their unique flavour, texture and appealing natural colour. These delicate salt flakes are an
ideal garnish and finishing salt to compliment any dish.
Murray River Salt ‘Grinder Salt’ is a coarser crystal than Murray River Salt ‘Salt Flakes’. Whilst the crystal requires a grinder, it is not a traditional hard rock salt, thus eliminating the need to regularly replace your grinder unit.
Award winning Murray River Salt ‘Truffle Salt Flakes’ infused with whole black pieces of Western Australian Great Southern Black Melanosporum truffles.
Murray River Salt ‘Salted Chocolate Bar’ is made with 70% premium dark chocolate and just the right amount of Murray River Salt ‘Salt Flakes’.
The Murray River Salt ‘Salted Chocolate Bar’ is gluten and dairy free, however it may contain traces of nuts.
Murray River Salt (originally Trading as SunSalt) commenced producing products from the ancient
saline brines sourced from the underground aquifiers found in Australia’s Murray Darling region in
1983.
The company commenced selling general industrial salt products and then launched the iconic Murray River Salt® Pink Gourmet Salt Flakes in 2002.
Murray River Salt is now launching their new Premium White Salt product range. The new White Salt products are produced at our Mourquong Site (13kms from Mildura) using solar evaporated white salt harvested at this location. The White Salt is a high quality appealing flavoured salt.
The Pink Salt products are produced at our Mildura facility using a different process to specifically achieve Pink Salt Flakes. All products are made from pristine brines, are sustainable and assist the environment be helping reduce the salinity! There are 2 grades available in 20kg bags.
